Different at School
Our focus:
EDUCATE
We are committed to promoting understanding and raising awareness through education! Our resources particularly focus on differences, disabilities, and diseases that may not be readily understood by our students in grades k-5.
Our lessons can be found under the resources tab and are free to download. For more information visit the resources tab!
Celebrate
By integrating positive lessons and discussions about differences, we can cultivate empathy, respect, and acceptance. When children learn about various disabilities, illnesses, and differences they are better equipped to understand and embrace students who may be different, fostering a more inclusive and compassionate school community.
Advocate
Education and awareness are powerful tools in preventing bullying by fostering advocacy. By teaching children to celebrate differences and treat others with kindness and respect, we can create safer and more supportive school environments where every child can thrive.
Students will feel empowered to stand up for one another, building courageous classrooms and school communities.
